Sugar Cane Crushing Mills Bundaberg Foundry produces the most modern 'A' frame and conventional triangular design in cane mills in the world. General sizes from 1525mm to 2800mm roller lengths in three, four, five and six roll mills. Specialising in medium and heavy duty pressure feeders. The mills can be designed to incorporate conventional mill gearing using a steam turbine or electric variable speed motor as the prime mover. Shaft mounted or remote electro hydraulic or electro mechanical drives can also be utilised. Our mills can be packaged with service systems and accessories. Bundaberg Foundry mills can be found throughout the Australian and overseas sugar industries. The largest is our 2800mm (110") mill supplied to the Korach Factory in Thailand. It is the largest Australian manufactured milling tandem in the world, designed to crush up to 30,000 tonnes of cane per day. 
Cane mill designers are a rarity. Most importantly, there are very few in
the world today who are experienced in modern mill design. The accumulated
experience of Bundaberg Foundry people is unique. In addition Bundaberg
Foundry is a part of one of Australia's largest Cane Sugar groups, Bundaberg
Sugar Ltd, which is wholly owned by Finasucre, a Belgian manufacturer of
both Beet and Cane Sugar. Within our company network are seven sugar mills
and a refinery from which expertise and vital milling data is obtained.
Bundaberg Foundry has a practical understanding of heavy duty mill design, including selection of shaft and journal sizing, top roll loads, bearing pressures and Donnelly chute conditions. Our designers utilise the latest techniques including Finite Element Stress Analysis software to aid in the optimisation of our designs. From our extensive experience and through our group operations, we are better able to specify prime mover, gearing and control systems based on real time operational results. We are fully conversant in estimating, contract finalisation and administration and procurement. Our team is competent in export packing, shipping documentation, foreign exchange and proforma invoicing. Export finance can be offered from a selection of local and foreign financing institutions. |
